What are yall New Yorkers doing as of now?

Severe t-storm warning for all of NYC until 8:30pm. Winds >70mph possible. Now's the time to take cover, folks.

What kind of bitch ass storm was this.
I live in Staten Island, the storm lasted 20 minutes, it got windy, some thunder, nothing major, and now it's all done and in the distance.
I was expecting so much more, what a let down.
(I live for thunderstorms, I would stan them if they were pop stars)
