it's not a bandwagon. the movies are atrocious. and i'm speaking as someone who doesn't "hate" movies. i barely give the worst movies of all time a 'D'.
yes, you're right, there are some people who just say 'Twilight' sucks for the hell of it, but there are legit reasons why people dislike the movies and the books so much and to just assume it's a bandwagon is blatant generalization. there are MANY people who genuinely dislike the books because of the writing and quality of the story. there also MANY who genuinely dislike the movies because of the poor acting quality from it's main actors.
understand that beneath what seems like a bandwagon is logic and reasoning, even if you don't agree with it.
It was the midnight premiere, I was pressured by my friends to watch the movie because all of them loved the 1st one.
