It could also either mean she doesn't expect to win VMA's.. or she doesn't expect to win VMA's as HERSELF. She could go as an alter ego, who knows. Either way, VMA's aren't everything. She could still release a single.
Good, she doesn't need the exposure. And if she's not attending that just means she's not attending. Can't exactly assume it means the single/album aren't coming this year, because they are.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but at least one credible insider has already mentioned that if it were up to interscope the album would have been out already. So yeah
I don't believe this one bit. I still think the single is coming day before the perfume launches like that Tuesday and then VMA performance to solitify its longetivity on the charts while she tours. I mean all she needs is one explosive performance to draw in GP. I think her label is gonna suprise us like w the movie debut. Watch she release the single and then 6 weeks later the album in late September or Early October. She's huge enough to do that too.
