It takes a special person to break boundaries, and no other rapper has done what Eminem has done. The biggest selling, the most decorated and most recognized rapper of all time.
His early works are top notch, both The Eminem Show and The Marshall Mathers LP are some of the most acclaimed albums of our generation. He sings about substantial topics and raps about very personal matters. Many of his tracks are humorous, rage, emotional and anthemic. He is far from being one dimensional.
Yes, while his recent work isn't his best, they are far from mediocre. For example, Recovery has several great tracks: Cinderella Man, Space Bound, and Untitled.
Lose Yourself is THE most iconic hip-hop song of all time and Stan is one of the greats in terms of hip-hop songs.
