Just wondering if there are still Blackberry users on ATRL? If you are one of them, why haven't you jumped ship yet? I have to say I still use BB simply because I'm so bad at texting using touchscreen phones. Still haven't got the hang of it. I know. I'm such a loser for being kinda technologically challenged lol. How about you? Why are you still a Blackberry user?
Because not all wants the extravagant specs. An iPhone 4S, Samsung Galaxy S3 etc are rather useless if you don't use the specs. They just want a phone that can call, text and check e-mails.
Yes, I still use my blackberry because it works for what I need. Calling, texting. I don't need any fancy apps or music cluttering up my phone. Besides, Apple is the biggest pain in the ass, and I'm still up in the air about the Andriod.
The only reason I left my BB was because of the screen,
too small and **** always got behind the glass.
I really loved the keyboard and BBM.
So glad they're making BBM apps for iPhone and Android.
Just bc I haven't gotten around to shopping for a new one. I've looked at some Androids online and I love some of them but I still haven't taken the steps to getting one.
1. Apps suck (compared to iOS and Android)
2. It still uses a keyboard in 2012 (this is a smartphone we're talking about, not a cheap ass $50 phone)
3. Media capabilities are crap (who would watch videos on such a small screen...)
4. The screen is **** (no Retina display)
5. iOS now has iMessage like BBM (if you want cross-platform use Kik or Whatsapp)
6. Android is better (tons of options and phones for you to choose from).
7. iOS is better (if you want a good quality phone).
8. The UI sucks ass.
I love touchscreens, and I don't get the craze for physical QWERTY texting buttons. This isn't a laptop, I can type as fast on my Mac as I do on my iPhone. You just get used to it after a while. Plus all the good phones come with a touchscreen nowadays (and the bad phones lol)
Why do you think their sales are declining? Blackberries will die out in about 3-4 years time because Android and iOS will be so strong that there is only room for 3 serious competitors - and RIM isn't it, it's Microsoft with Windows Phone.
Blackberry is actually still a hit in my country.
I now use Android phone ehich i love, but all of my friends sometimes communicate by BBM that irritates me because i feel like abandoned lol.
So i have a thought to have a Blackberry, but not gonna do it cos my boss really relies on BBM, and sometimes my workmates always get an extra work by BBM, bahaha.
I still use BlackBerry and I still love it. I don't use much of the apps like BBM and such but I wish they'd have Instangram and my life will be complete.
