Yeah. For example, in airplay, Some Nights is on 27.081 and #5 on iTunes, and As Long as You Love Me (which doesn't have a video either I think) is on 21.259 and was just outside the top 40 on iTunes before his performance, whilst Pound the Alarm is on 10.350 and not in the top 200 yet. It could be higher off that airplay. Turn Me On went to #1 on iTunes without a music video, so that can't be the reason.

Didn't Nicki perform it on TV there or something aswell?

It's doing good in my country, it's been hovering between #7 and #10 for a couple of weeks now on iTunes, but Nicki has done TONS of promo here the past month or so, and the song is approaching top 10 on airplay (maybe already there) in my country. So I guess you're right, if she did that sort of promo in the US it could help a lot.
