The only pop songs are Scream, Numb, Euphoria & Can't Stop Won't Stop.

The rest is R&B. His mistake was releasing Scream.

Damn Usher is slaying the R&B Charts. First off he isn't pop, the album has pop influences but it isn't. For those who hate the album, he can't stick with the same thing over and over again, he would flop. Second, music has changed over the years, R&B isn't played on the radios that much. His life is at a different place right now, he can't sing about the same **** over and over again. And third, Looking 4 Myself is ****ing amazing.

Well from the looks of his album sales, this pop **** he's trying to do is flopping even harder.

Usher's core is R&B. almost the entirity of his fans are R&B, and have been slowly alienating him since he starting chasing trends. Aint nobody tryna hear that **** from him, especially this late into his career

I don't really think he gives a **** about his album sales honestly, yes his Urban fan base must have felt alienated because he promoted Scream more often, but you can't honestly think the whole album is crap? Because in my opinion this album is way better than the past two he has released.

I think Usher deserves to be called pop. When you biggest hit from an album is a song like Scream, you don't deserve to be called an R&B artist.

If he turns Lemme See or Dive or something into a big hit, maybe we can call him R&B again, but I know he won't/can't. I bet you 100% Euphoria will be his follow-up single to Scream... so no, I can't call him an R&B singer.
