I have to bump this just because I just ran across it today. It's not that good, but apparently it was kind of a quickly recorded thing. The new single ("Oh My God") she's about to release sounds much better and true to form, at least based on live performances.
BTW, I also cannot handle the 2nd album shade. Kate has always been a fan of alt-rock (see "Caroline's A Victim") and has slowly started to weave it into her own sound over the years. While this video/song is kind of an obvious (and albeit unsuccessful) attempt to come across in a more alternative light, I thought the 2nd album was a great marriage of her more accessible side on Made of Bricks and this alt-rock vibe. Can't wait for the 3rd album!
