If she laughed at a gay joke or said something was gay I wouldn't care but if she was full on homophobic and said gay people were disgusting or something I wouldn't stan for her thankfully she's not homophobic.
I'd stop supporting them. I don't stan for people just because I like their music; lots of artists have some good music or music I can relate to. What separates my favorite artists is that I connect with them as a person and I guess in a way appreciate their music more because of it. And I see them as genuine and caring individuals that don't harbor or promote any form of hatred. So if they did start doing that they could go **** themselves for all I care

this. I don't only love my faves' music but also their personalities and what they stand for, I look up to them, and if I couldn't do that anymore it'd probably turn me off of their music as well.
Well if Katy actually felt like she had to go out of her way just to include homophobic lyrics, it would probably make my respect drop for her, and she wouldn't be my favorite anymore. Yeah, I wasn't thrilled about her writing a song called Ur So Gay, but I ended up thinking it was funny anyways, but clearly, she's moved on from that with Firework.
