My father also listens to a lot of old school rap while my mother stans for Rihanna, Beyonce, and Gaga. She used to be a fan of Madonna but she's over her now.
My dad doesn't listen to music... Which is just weird. Whenever he listens to the radio, he switches it to AM to hear some paranoid person talk about the government.

My mom also likes MJ, Rihanna + Ke$ha if I'm not wrong. I don't know about my dad though, he kinda listens to anything + likes so much wierd music from country to opera so I even want to get heavy metal cause he thinks there are a lot of cool music in that genre

Between my two parents, who were both really into music with great taste, I got a great music foundation growing up, but my dad's ultimate fave is Bob Dylan () & my mom's fave was Kiko Veneno.
The only aberrations are my dad's recent fondness for country & mom's distaste for The Beatles (according to her, in her day "the good girls listened to The Beatles & the bad girls listened to The Rolling Stones". She was a Rolling Stone kinda gal .)
