It's a complicated issue I don't know if I want to get into right now.
I think that IF someone committed a horrible crime such as the one that occurred today, they were obviously intent on committing it, and would find a way to obtain a weapon no matter the legality of owning one. So obviously guns shouldn't be completely illegal, or else there would be no way for innocent people to defend themselves. But simply purchasing a gun definitely shouldn't be as easy as it currently is, so something has to be done about that in an effort to prevent tragedies like this from easily happening.
I don't know... I guess gun control should be a lot stricter, but never fully enough to get in the way of the general public's safety or right to defend themselves. It's tough

... but it really doesn't affect me, since as of right now, I have no need or desire to own a gun.
