Did you all remember I said that I was singing Dark Side in my school's singing competition? Thanks to y'all's help looking for the best performance of Dark Side for me to study. I managed to place as the first runner up. I thought I did better than the winner vocally but she had such grand entourage of dancers, costumes, and sound effects while I was all vocals and microphone.
The most important thing is I SLAYED the F#5. I couldn't hit it right during the rehearsals but probably due to adrenaline rush being on stage, it happened .
ohmygod congrats! The winner tried to cover up the flaws by gimmicks.

He's 52 years old. I'm guessing that's an old photo because he looks much younger in it. And of course he's Nashville-based
I turned the TV to VH1 and I caught the last few minutes of SNL when Kelly was on during the Breakaway era. With the blonde hair back, it's so crazy how she looks the same.
One of my friends works in radio down in Florida and he's constantly making fun of me for loving Kelly. He hates pop music in general but is especially hard on Kelly because "she's fat" () and hates her music. But anyway, he went back on the air today as a DJ after 4 years of being off..
He posted this on Facebook: "Sure enough, frist song I have to play in 4 years... Kelly Clarkson. FML." And he tagged me.
From my experience, people I know who hate pop generally love Kelly BRCAUSE she's fat.
He just has some gripe because his station interviewed her once and he said her list of things they couldn't talk about with her was ridiculous and he thinks she's a diva because of it. Even though it was probably her management at the time that came up with the list and not Kelly herself. We all know she's really candid and will answer anything, or if she doesn't like the question she'll be vague and move on.

He a talented guy, loads of experience & can sing. They had to cover a lot with cory gone. Hopefully he's fun & engaging. wonder if its just for the summer since he's with faith hill or long term.
