#44 Fluorescent Half Dome
Average: 7.13
Highest Score: 10 (RatedG2)
Lowest Score: 3 (Great Username)
I think I like the idea of this song more than the actual song. Like what even is a
Fluorescent Half Dome? The closer of the album Bitte Orca, Fluorescent Half
Dome just sounds cool, and the beginning instrumental is really neat.

And that's all for tonight folks. I promise it won't always be this fast. Also, do you
guys like this time? Earlier? Later?

I liked it, but it's a 7.5.
I like this time, and I understand why you had to do it so fast but good job. Great descriptions too. There haven't been any huge crimes committed yet.

A further point: this is probably another "song house" for me. I know it's going to sound weird, but I think this is what I want my old age to feel like, if that makes any sense.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I saw you use 'song house' earlier, and I really like it. I've had that feeling before, but never really knew how to express it.

I have to thank Ace for bringing it to my attention (and The AV Club for coming up with it?).

Not Cheerleader leaving............
That is Grizzly Bear's best song! And it's one of the better songs in the entire rate. I gave it a 9.. oh well.
Everything else is rating out just fine.

Ugh, none of their songs should be this low. They did not have lower than an eight.
I'm not surprised Grizzly Bear's songs are dropping like flies. But their best are still in.
I also loved Phoenix but Love In The Sunset, Pt. II was their worst so I'm fine with it going. Pretty good start so far.

I'm actually surprised Cheerleader and Dory are out. And I don't hate LITS at all, but just no I had to sabotage them a little, they are my only bad scores...
Can The xx get a little punch?

No.
The only two songs that should stay out of the top 25 for them are Fantasy and Infinity.

"Taste" was the track I LOVED the least on MPP, but I love that it sounds like it's just them having some fun. "Love Like a Sunset, Pt. II" is gorgeous. I didn't wanted it to leave so soon. I loved the ending of "Fine For Now." And "Flourescent Half Dome" is a decent closer.
To answer your previous question sticks, yes. This hour is perfect. Your graphics are amazing and I love that you resort to the artists themselves for so many of the write-ups.

While You Wait For The Others, Southern Point, Two Weeks, Ready Able, and Foreground are their best five. And it seems like many of us agree considering they are five of the six Grizzly Bear tracks remaining.
