British singer and Roc Nation signee Rita Ora opened up to Otis from Kiss 95.1 about why she recently gave Drake a ring. Though Drake has been linked to numerous female artists, Ora explained that the ring wasn't given on a romantic level.
"It was my granddads's ring," explained Ora. "I've known Drake for so many years, he was the first guy I wrote with on my album. So I've been doing this album for literally 3 years. But Drake, I always kept his songs on the album."
Drake was the writer for her single "R.I.P.", which tore across the European charts and ended up being number one. "He wrote it for me and it just all made sense. So the least i could do was give him something really important to me cause...if you think about it, he changed my life."
