The lyrics are not stupid.

They are very cheesy and not incredible compared to songs like Bloody Mary but the song is supposed to be innocent and is about someone who is naïve and wanting to fit in. To me, it feels like the story is being told by a teenager who might not have all the right words and is going through a rough time accepting themselves so it makes sense.

At least that's how I interpret it.

I mean, "I want lots of friends who invite me to their parties." Like, that's adorable. It's also ****ing stupid, but it's so cute.

The song is saved by how catchy it is and how good the instrumental is.

This song's lyrics are a poem. She should release a music and name it "i am my wig/hair."

It's not that bad. I didn't like it at first, but it grew on me.

The bold and vomitously in-your-face cheesiness of Hair makes the song endearing to me.

The only problem I have with the song is its noisy production.
