Agreed, the early digital + radio success was mostly a fluke: RedOne + less say in her career.
True, but I also don't think RedOne and less say in her career (isn't that what's kinda happening this era?) is going to help her in the US this time.
She'll keep doing fine worldwide, though. People in non-English speaking countries can't understand the lunacy that flows out of her mouth so she'll continue to have great success internationally!
If she does, I'll be happy for her, but I don't really care if her music isn't commercial enough for a few whiny people.
This tbh. I feel like people underestimate her for a bumpy era. But people did the same with Rihanna from GGGB to Rated R and we saw what happened with Loud. It can go either way.
Her success will increase a bit in both areas but not by much. It's not as though her original success was that incredible, either - it was merely impressive.
So much hinges on her production and I don't think that DJWS, Garibay, or Zedd can deliver something that can turn things around for her. RedOne is done and produces nothing but recycled garbage now.
Also I think people are under the impression that artists can only hit one peak in their career but there are quite a few artists who have disproved that over the years. ANY SINGLE ARTIST can have another super successful era with the right material.
If people like Chris Brown can have hits and a #1 album after what he did and when people thought his career was over, anyone can.

That's why the polls asks WILL she, not CAN she. Technically, of course she can if she drops amazing music so hot that radio DJs have no choice but to play it and music buyers love. I'm asking if YOU think she WILL.
meh what sucks about gaga is that unike alot of other pop girls she doesnt have much multi-format appeal. She'll never be the biggest on radio but i think she can get back her digital power
No. She'll never have back to back #1's like that again, nor will she have three 9+ million digital sellers like she did from that era.
I disagree with this. If you exclude JD+Poker Face. The only back to back singles she's had were all on her main format which were pop. All she has to do is get radio back on the bandwagon.

As I said in my first post, I could careless if she does or not. I'm not a fan for her successes like some people. I'm saying she CAN but since I don't have a crystal ball or know what kind of music is going to be on the next album is, I can't say she WILL.
She had 1 album with decent single sales. All she has to do is release something more radio friendly
