Not even meant to be a single - or was it? The Pete Hammond remix was uploaded to Kylie's official YouTube account to promote the 2011 Aphrodite World Tour. Due to the lackluster (putting it kindly) promotional campaigns and impact of her previous two singles, Kylie decided to end Aphrodite and focus on her tour. Her North American record label, Astralwerks, had different plans. They jumpstarted it, and Parlophone soon followed. With no official video, no promo, no organized release campaign and no radio airplay, Put Your Hands Up became Kylie's biggest FLOP as a solo artist in Australia and the UK. IT did go number one on the Hot Dance Charts though! SUCCESS.
