I live in Australia so of course i would know about this. And it IS sad that the victim was murdered, my heart goes out to his family. But people make the choices to go in shark habitat (as already mentioned in this thread). I do not agree with chasing after sharks just because they killed someone. They don't know any better, Stay out of their territory and leave them alone. I mean, How many sharks are being killed by humans while this thread is open right now?

You just need to know the right places to swim...i had this warning in hawaii. sharks can strike anywhere.

It's horrible for the victims' families and all but they shouldn't kill them. It's not like all sharks gather together to plot against humans. It's instinct.

it's the victims fault for not properly considering the risks prior to entering the water. Tough luck.
