How well she will do when putting out single without promo? S&S and EO?

I think S&S reached number 1 after 12 hours of release....and I don't really know EY...I just know it peaked at 2.

I don't think that this was on purpose , it never got huge updates . Pop no likey . simply that.

Worst of all it could break her current running streak of having an album in BB200 every week from year 2006.

Well i think that LP4 singles will be spaced out so they don't have to kill them on the radio... like her other LP songs. It was just unusual for Taylor to have so many songs released to radio the past year.

BoU and EO were a mess .

One that was expected to be one of Taylor's biggest hits , and it flopped .
The other was expected to give Taylor some hype for BOU and then make it die and it was Taylor's highest debut on Pop and it peaked with 45 million AI in about 3 weeks .


So messy .

It only needs to hang on 10-12 more weeks before the new album comes out. I think unless there is like 40-50 albums on sale or new releases that she'll be fine. Selling under 3k is the only way she will fall below the the top 200 and she's been stable around 4k for many weeks.

Just went to iTunes ... Taylor , sis and big machine records ..

Honestly I wasn't expecting that much. I liked both songs but compared to what has topped the charts I thought they were lacking that thing to make them massive hits. Plus no real type of promo in terms of performances didn't help matters. I liked that Taylor showed she could do other things vocally within other genres with EO and BOU perhaps opened some doors.

Yeah I think the albums will remain where they were prior to the discount... Speak Now around 150, Fearless around 190 and Taylor Swift not in the 200. Hopefully when the lead single comes out the albums will be boosted up about 50 spots each

Someone explain to me why chart is so important please? Why I should give a **** abt it?

Also looking at Taylor's chart run, it looks like things just happened naturally. The more fans want her to have the same success like the first two, and looking at how BMR & her team had tried all those things to recreate LP2's success, it seems like everything just failed miserably. A desperate move. Something that not even the smartest marketing move could create. Just my two cents.

Agreed plus a win or two at The Teen Choice Awards this weekend should help. They had Taylor listed as a presenter/performer there and if she makes an announcement this week or the next about her new cd the momentum should carry Speak Now into the new era.

She's so gonna will all those categories she's nominated in. Mark my words on that.

TCAs is the shittiest 'awards shows' of all time. It's the pits sis. I hate her association with that faux awards show. It's basically like the VMAs, you attend the 'ceremony', you win. Difference is, while VMAs do still consider about quality, TCAs don't. All what FOX & producers said. Zero credibility.
