Charlie Sheen‘s Twitter adventure is coming to an end. The controversial star told Jay Leno on The Tonight Show Monday night that the account “was never my idea in the first place.”
However, Sheen says he’s still within the 30-day window to reclaim the account, or sell it. Sheen signed off his account last Thursday with the tweet, “Reach for the stars everyone. Dogspeed cadre. c out.”
Sheen joined Twitter in March 2011 after a public spat with with the producer of his hit show Two and a Half Men. Sheen’s Twitter experience was nothing if not notable. He quickly broke the Guinness World Record for the “Fastest Time to Reach 1 Million Followers,” accidentally tweeted his phone number and was said to have tweeted while having sex with his former girlfriend, Bree Olsen.

Funny thins (for some, I'm sure) is that he had been hired by WWE to be the "Social Media Ambassador" at their landmark 1000th episode of Raw.... What is he gonna do during that show now, update his MySpace????
