Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar's set was one of the buzziest of the festival, thanks to talk of a possible mega celebrity guest appearance. Rumors flew before and during the set ("Lady Gaga? Wait, no, Lady Gaga?!") and there she was, platinum blonde hair, ridiculous diamonds, and chunky sunglasses, chilling in the wings. Gaga never took the stage but Lamar's set didn't actually need the bump, with sweaty fans screaming every lyric to tracks like "**** Your Ethnicity" and "A.D.H.D". By the time Lamar finished, the focus was all on him.
WTF/OMG moment of possibly the entire festival: Lady Gaga hanging out on the side of the stage.
