I present to you the grand 14 (from the chart that's really
stinking):
2 - 1 This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race, Fall Out Boy
-I'm proud of them, even though the song is irritating at times.
19 31 6 The Sweet Escape, Gwen Stefani Featuring Akon
-I saw the video for the first time this morning and the song has finally caught on with me. I liked it before but I had mixed feelings. Not anymore!
22 17 11 Promise, Ciara
-#1 at R&B, well done.
33 33 10 Snow ((Hey Oh)), Red Hot Chili Peppers
-I don't get it. The worst single off SA appears to be doing the best at radio. Still good.
35 37 16 Boston, Augustana
-I swear, they sent this for adds about 17 times to date. It's working this time though.
38 39 12 Watching You, Rodney Atkins
-Don't laugh at me!
57 67 6 Lost Without U, Robin Thicke
-I'm so glad that the lord has answered my prayers in revealing the horrible quality of Timberflake's voice through the incomparable, Robin Thicke.
58 - 4 Fidelity, Regina Spektor
-Thank you VH1. That channel isn't half bad and at least it features music videos (that aren't by some lame emo band fresh out of a Canadian garage).
62 56 8 Pain, Three Days Grace
-It's obvious TDG/their label are pushing for a crossover hit. If it isn't this, it must be "Never Too Late."
69 86 13 Nothing Left To Lose, Mat Kearney
-Another one that is finally taking off thanks to countless TV spots.
73 81 4 And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going, Jennifer Hudson
-The future. America is going to love her (pun INTENDED

) for years to come.
77 98 2 Glamorous, Fergie Featuring Ludacris
-LMAO, I love her.
83 70 7 Lost One, Jay-Z Featuring Chrisette Michele
-Shame that Jay-Z actually releases a good single and it fails to go far.
88 93 8 Anna-Molly, Incubus
-Why is this just now charting? It feels as if I played this one out ages ago. Bring on "Dig."
Chart, you dirty hoes. CHART!
--- 06 GARY JULES FALLING AWAKE
18 12 MUSE STARLIGHT
--- 17 LILY ALLEN SMILE
--- 18 CARRIE UNDERWOOD WASTED
Looking at this chart, there are like 30 songs I've never heard in my life but I presume that they are Urban leaning songs because of their now generic/cheestastic titles (This Is Why I'm Hot, King Kong, Throw Some D's, etc.). I can't stand to see that format regress, it's truly saddening.
