Britney Spears to be a guest on Daddy Yankee's new album in Feb. 2007
okay this was on Wikipedia but since they will get sued if they put false info on their site i think they are more reliable heres what it said:
"El Cartel: The Album is the follow up album to Daddy Yankee's hit album Barrio Fino. According to a promotional video, this next CD will be released in February 2007. Yankee announced on the bonus DVD of En Directo that he plans to make this album a "hit". Yankee is currently still recording tracks for the upcoming disc. Also quoted in the back of the En Directo CD jewel case in the coming soon area, it says "El Cartel: The Album coming soon". Guests will include Pitbull, Trick Daddy, Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige, UGK, Mobb Deep, Snoop Dogg, Petey Pablo, Young Buck and many others.Daddy Yankee was talking to Paulina Rubio about a duet for his new album. Daddy Yankee said this will be his best record ever."
i love both these artists, but just no. The reaggeton beat is too much for Britney, if anything DY should appear on Britney's album, some kind of mid-tempo ballad like J.lo and LL Cool J
uhh calm down everybody. it only says it features her. Drop It On Me by Ricky/DY was really good and hardly resembled reggaeton. It did but had more R&B/hip-hop style to it. Plus you never know what the overall sound might be...i just can't wait to hear what it sounds like. i don't critcize before i hear something unless i'm positive it's terrible.
