Does she realize that the over-attentive internet music nerds-"hipsters" she reviles are the ones that hyped her music in the first place? The ones that gave 212 any push in the first place wasn't the hip hop community, or the tired fashion-head bandwagon jumpers- it was the "hipsters" who were looking for fresh music and female mc talent that wasn't rooted in wigs and alter-egos.
Is she getting pressed because the same "hipsters" that paid her any mind in the first place aren't feeling the whole Lil Kim meets gay ballroom-scene-ripoff mermaid gimmicks?
I'm not saying she owes anything to anyone, and I respect her talent as an mc, but seeing tweets like these are always unfortunate reminder that she's just another ratchet 21-year old girl from Harlem that wants attention.
