You download the scrobbler and keep that always running in the background, then it sends your plays to your last.fm account each time you listen to a song. If you use Spotify, it has scrobbling built in (if you add your last.fm account in the settings). I don't think you can actually listen to music on the site.

Have you hooked it up with your iTunes and/or Spotify yet? That would help.

After you do that, just continue playing music as usual.

And if you have a Android/iPhone download the scobbler app to scrobble your songs on the go.

If you happen to be listening to music on Youtube or on a browser get the scrobbler app on Chrome.

After you've successfully downloaded and installed it, open your music player. After that, it should open the lastfm scrobbler app as well. Just log in and start listening whatever song you want to. I hope this helps.

Check in the extensions place on Mozilla. I'm sure they have something.

I used to have that in my early days but now it scrobbles fine.
