Have you gone to the movies for midnight premieres?
I've only watched 2 midnight premieres, the last Harry Potter and Hunger Games. When I saw Harry Potter the movie went down after 10 minutes and everyone went crazy. We ended up getting free tickets. Thinking about seeing Dark Knight Rises at midnight but I don't think anyone would go with me.
I've gone to three, its always lots of fun. I went to the last Harry Potter movie, Hunger Games and The Amazing Spider-Man. I love the atmosphere and how everyone is so excited for the movie, and how that shows during.
Harry Potter was a double feature and me and my friends were the first ones in line, for our screen, there was like 7 others. I fell asleep in part one. 4 or 5 hours early.
Hunger Games went alright. There was a camera crew that kept invading my space, I just ignored it though. 3 or 4 hours early.
The Amazing Spider-Man got a t-shirt. Besides that nothing really notable. No big line or anything. Got there just an hour early and went right in and sat in the theater.
I think it's kind of silly to be waiting all day (the US should really implement the 'reserve your seat' system ) but I do love the atmosphere and people's excitement.

I think I might see that at midnight too, even though it will probably be... uh, crazy.
I went to the midnight premiere of Eclipse and Burlesque. I think I went to Harry Potter Part 2, but I don't remember waiting in line. Maybe it was the day of.
I did go to the store at midnight to buy the sixth Harry Potter book though, and the shopkeepers started selling them 10 minutes early and stole all the customers that were queuing at the shop up the road That's the only time.
One, The Dark Knight. And it started raining and thundering/lightning while we were in the movie so driving home in the dark like that made it seem so much creepier
I've only been to one...Sex And The City. I'm pretty lazy, if it's that urgent, I'll just see it during opening weekend. If not, I usually just wait til a DVD rip makes it's way online. But I will be seeing The Dark Knight Rises this Thursday night, and I'm incredibly freaking excited.
