MTV Hits is what MTV used to be. They play music 24/7 with little commercials and no shows besides countdowns and playlist. And an artist interview and news. Its basically MTV from the 80s and 90s but with today's music. It doesn't seem to be popular, yet people seem to want music on their tvs.

I don't think this is available in my country But I watch Much Music, which it's pretty much the same thing.

I didn't even know that existed. I don't know if it's available on my TV either though.

I watch it and listen to it when I wash dishes.

I used to, but videos now aren't as good as they were back in the 2000s. So I really don't use it anymore.

I throw it on when there is nothing else on...kind of like now. But I saw they were playing Flo Rida. Swiftly changed it.

MTV Hits is a bit different in the US, though (compares to the description in the OP). Here it's mostly videos from now with a few sprinkled in from the 2000s and sometimes '90s. Most of the blocks are thematic playlists (like Fierce Females [all female artists], Guy Candy [all males], Latest & Greatest, New Faces [or something like that], etc.) Sometimes they add in special thematic playlists, like Artist Collections. I once even saw an our of the nominees for the O Music Award for Best Fans or something like it, so I'm looking forward to seeing what they do as the VMAs approach!!

Personally, I really like it; it reminds me a bit of the MTV (Latin America) I used to have back in 2000, but without the other shows, most of which I didn't use anyway...
