You could apply this to a lot of rap and MOST female rap, it's a style. It's flexing, it's being lyrical for the sake of being lyrical. Weezy made an empire out of rapping about absolutely nothing.
Besides, we have a 4-track EP and a 19-track mixtape.
If the Epworth-produced album has no lyrical depth, I'll agree it's not there, but I'm of the opinion that they're saving it for the album.
