The Walking Dead in only two seasons, is more epic. I just think that Buffy is somewhat dated right now, rewatchable yes, but it doesn't hold up as much, while I think TWD will stand the test of time.
As inconsistent as Buffy was, it still destroys The Walking Dead in terms of writing and acting. No The Walking Dead episode will ever top The Gift, or Once More With Feeling and it sure as hell won't top The Body.
