Fortune's fourth single rises 22 places this week on Billboard's Japan Hot 100, landing at #9. The song debuted at #59 in June and since then it spent 5 weeks on chart. Brown is currently the only non-asian act charting in the japanese top 10.
On the Hot Top Airplay chart, Brown's song has reached #4 this week. "Turn Up the Music" re-enters the chart at #95.
"Don't Wake Me Up" also reaches #2 on the Digital and Airplay Overseas chart.

It already is, outside of North America. #2 in Australia and in the UK. And now top 10 in Japan.

I don't even know what Billboard Japan's methodology is. This isn't even in the top 200 on Oricon.

Only local acts chart in the Oricon singles chart. It's based on physical sales only, which are still big in Japan. Foreign acts don't release CD singles in Japan anymore as you know. Billboard's chart uses digital and airplay data.

Oricon still doesn't use digital? What are they waiting for? That's ridiculous.

I think RIAJ uses digital data too. Oricon has probably a digital chart, I'm not sure. They just don't use a combined chart, I guess.
