Ok so I am going to be randomly assigned a roommate, because I have no male friends going to my college. I am kinda worried that my roommate won't be gay friendly. I'm not exactly good at hiding it.

If it does back fire on me, my "dorm" is more of an apartment, so I will still have privacy.
Edit:
My aunt was talking to me about roommates and she said "just hope he's not gay, because my husband had a gay roommate, and it was awful"

Grant they're in their 60s.
Also, there was a personality survey I took, and it asked your favorite type of music. I said top 40 (pop). How many homophobic people listen to pop?

At the bottom of it, it said "we make all decisions regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, national identify, etc
and we reject all requests to change because of these reasons.

They would probably make an exception if my safety was on danger, but not if we just feel awkward. Which is what I am worried about.
To those that did have straight roommates, did you ever feel comfortable enough to bring a guy over?
