I can NOT handle some of you shading the good name of "Scary Movie 3". It was a fresh way to re-vamp the series with "Airplane" style humor (as opposed to over the top grossness that got pretty tired pretty fast by part 2). Part 4 is definitely a watered down version of 3, the way 2 was a rehashed version of 1. The best are 3 and 1, IMO. I actually just re-watched 2 last night and a lot of that gross-out type of humor has not aged as well.



Anyway, I'm not here for a fifth one unless Cindy and Brenda are 100% on board. I can't even begin with this if it's going to be centered on Ashley's character. As for Lindsay, I refuse to give her anymore chances unless she earns them with a stellar performance, and something tells me SM5 is not going to be the vehicle in which she does that.

I 100% agree that 1 & 3 are the best. And I also agree that 5 shouldn't even go ahead if Cindy and Brenda are not going to be in it. They were what made the movies great. It pains me to say it as I've been looking forward to Scary Movie 5 for years now but I would rather see it not happen if Cindy and Brenda are not there.

They should just take her to the back of the barn and shoot her if this is how her career is going.

I don't think it would be that bad if she does a good job in it... Even though the previous ones got horrible reviews Anna Faris was always given a lot of praise for her performance. Lindsay needs to remind people she's actually a good actress.

Apparently E!News is saying she hasn't even been offered anything/ nothing has been written for her she just met with Bob Weinstein who owns the film company that makes 'scary movie'

It also said both sides are interested in working together...

Hope so! Can't wait for this! But no Anna Faris!
