Freshman year - I was new and just moved to the area, I'm not shy by any means, so I was able to make friends very quickly. I met my best friend in the entire world on the first day and his 3 friends, so we became Fab 5. Gay. My freshman year was so cool. I got into acting and theater and I played soccer. ll of the freshmen were contained together during the day, so I didn't know too many upperclassmen aside from the ones that played soccer and were in theater with me. I was also out during this time to my friends.
Sophomore year - It was much much better. I met some of the "cool" kids and started hanging out with them. I started drinking and smoking and partying with them every single day and most of the weekend. I was still into acting and theater and I tried out for football, but I didn't like it. Especially all them beating on me and ****. I got my first boyfriend and he was on the football team, but I quit like midseason. I hated it that much.
Junior year - My grades started slipping, so I made the decision to stop drinking and smoking. I cut those people who did out of my life and just stopped hanging out with them. I kept up with the acting though. That was really the best part of my HS experience. Even though I stopped talking to some of the populars, it still didn't stop me from being associated with that crowd. I still like sat with them at lunch and everything, and talked to only a few of the gerls and guys, but I didn't hang with them after school or anything like that. It was a bunch of drama always with them and something was always happening in that crowd though so I just branched out and talked to more people. Just anyone, I didn't care who they were, I just made friends with them and I always spoke to them.
Senior year - It was one of my best years. I wasn't worried about being popular or being cool. I was just me. I didn't care who liked it or who didn't like it. I just did whatever the hell I pleased. I cut back on the acting and got a job but I was still involved in the whole production process. I was hanging with everyone. Some of the popular kids, I made friends with the geeks, I made friends with the weird kids, I made friends with the ghetto boys and gerls, I was just all over the map. I didn't care either. Of course, I still had my 4 best friends, but I wasn't so focused on trying to be cool or being accepted by the bad or cool kids. I did my own thing.
