Probably security reasons. Pretty much everyone in the area knows where Rihanna's mothers house is, so its probably a lot safer for her to be in a hotel in case someone tried something.

True but you would think she would have her mother in a nice little neighbor hood in Barbados. I mean the house is nice...but it's no mansion. I wonder how many people go into her moms boutique asking about Rihanna.

She could stay at her own house and the entourage can stay in the hotel + she can put a guard or two around her mother's house when she is there in case someone tried to break in.

Did u watch Rihanna's Talk That Talk documentary. She visited her mom's shop and after a few minutes there were like 200 people around and she was locked in the shop for hours.
