Beto Cuevas Named New Judge on 'La Voz Mexico' Beside Paulina Rubio, Miguel Bose and Jenni Rivera

Beto Cuevas, the former lead singer of the Chilean rock band La Ley, will be joining Spanish crooner Miguel Bose, pop star Paulina Rubio and regional Mexican singer Jenni Rivera as the fourth coach on the second season of Mexico's version of the "The Voice," according a spokesperson for the show.
Known as "La Voz Mexico," the program returns to the airwaves later this year on the Televisa network with a new group of contestants who in recent months have been auditioning in hopes of earning a spot on the show.
The program and its many versions seen around the globe have revived interest in the celebrity coaches such as Christina Aguilera in the American version of the program on NBC.
"I'm really excited," Rivera tells Billboard.biz. "I was hesitant because it does take time from you. I'm really focused on my family, my kids, but they [producers] kept telling me they wanted me."
The first season of "La Voz Mexico" began airing in September and featured actress/songstress Lucero, singer/songwriter Aleks Syntek, regional Mexican crooner Espinoza Paz and Spanish pop star Alejandro Sanz. Each coach worked with 12 singers in genres ranging from pop to rock and regional Mexican to jazz.
The official unveiling of the latest coaches will take place on July 19 at Hotel W in Mexico City, where all four coaches will be presented during a press conference.
"La Voz Mexico" is one of about 15 international versions of "The Voice" format to be licensed by Talpa Media Group of the Netherlands. Universal Music Group has a worldwide agreement with Talpa to record and promote music by contestants in all countries.
Paulina Rubio is latin pop royalty, she has been 30 years in the industry!
And still strong "Me gustas tanto" smashed the **** out of clubs and radios so Sit down!
Don't even compare her to that lesser!
People generally don't like her personality and judging a 'singing' competition?
I just don't see her as a good fit.

I'm beyond amazed by people who still doubt Paulina's talent and potential as a superstar. She's been in the music industry for 31 years now and has sold over 20 million records worldwide and is considered one of the most important and relevant Latin divas.
I don't think someone talentless would last that long and achieve what Pau did.
