Actually, we're gearing up to introduce a new blogs forum, which is a great idea from Nick, one of our moderators. To make way for it, Celebrity Photos will be moved to a sub-forum of TV & Movies, and the Album Releases threads were merged back into the Music News forum.

Everyone will be able to make their own blog to talk about any imaginable topic. This means people won't have to make new threads or use Album Releases for non-news discussion: they can just post it in their blog, and other people can comment.

Last night, Omega came up with an idea to call it Blog Party, a tongue-in-cheek variation of Bloc Party... I think that idea is pretty great, and I've also been thinking about Blogfusion, to go along with the name of the site. While we get ready to have the new blogs forum go up, any input on the name would be great.

I've been changing my mind every few minutes. Please tell me which one you like better and/or which one you think fits the site more accurately.

Oh, thank you Nick and TC. I really like this idea, mostly because it will mean there would be less threads containing extremely personal/pointless posts. It makes this a more of a community-type of forum!

I do not know which I like more because Blog Party makes it seem fun while Blogfusion just goes better with the name of this site, as you mentioned. Hm, I say Blog Party because of the fun name which would make that part of the site stand out more and maybe result in less blog-like posts.

I say Blog Party; but like Ke said, Blogfusion goes better with the name of the site.

Good idea, if I understood that correctly! I forgot the whole tag system. I really like that the Videos forum is so organized and I would love it if the tag format for album threads became an option in the Music News & Charts forum!

I mentioned blog party in the chat before Omega, but in a different way [blogpartyzone2050.]

This new forum might be the best fresh idea on here in quite a while. Not only does it eliminate all the pointless threads in The Lounge, but it also seems like a great way to increase the sense of commnunity on the site. Time will tell exactly how well the idea is implemented, but I'm going to stick my neck out and offer a preliminary "kudos."
