She is a sellout, has no artistic integrity left & lame. Not listening to her anymore.

I would still give the album a chance, & still support her but less intensely.

How Would You React to GaGa Selling Out?
So I am super excited for GaGa's new "fun" music, & I consider GaGa a near-musical genius, but you know when this tiny little idea in the back of your mind kind of nags & you just a little, & you don't believe it will actually happen but the idea itself is still there?
What if she sold it & the new album was full of safe, generic Top 40 manufactured smashes? As in, it was quite obvious the album was made to quick-package hits & lost much of what makes GaGa as an artist?
Do you think she's too smart to ever do that? This is all hypothetical, so I'm not saying it would actually happen.

I wouldn't care. I'd just get my Kii from the reactions and bop to the music.

I'd lose respect for her.
She knows how to make fun music that isn't generic though.

MTE.
As long as it's different than what's on the radio today, then I'll be good with it.

She is a sellout from the beginning of her career. And I don't mean it in a bad way

I mean selling out to the point it's quite obvious, where it's obviously a watered-down version of her past work.

It would all depend on the quality of the music, really.

Exactly. It's in no way a negative thing.

The funny thing is, selling out and making generic radio smashes is exactly what some people want her to do, but these are the same people who are gonna call her a generic sell out if she does it. I don't think gaga has any plans on doing anything generic. I honestly think her radio smash days are over. It's just gonna get weirder from here on out.

It depends. If she talks about being rebel, the fame in an ironic way, I'll be HAPPY. But if she releases an album about partying and having sex (LOL it's quite impossible..) I wont' like that album THAT MUCH

I wouldn't care if it's a obvious hit material, as long as it's still Gaga-esque, something like Telephone

Just more receipts to dangle in front of the lessers.
And as long as it's boppable, I could care less about how "safe" it is.

The Fame, her sell-out album, is an excellent pop record. What makes Gaga bigger and better is that she has evolved with each album. That makes each period more unique. While a careless/immature album sounds good, I would lose respect for her if she devolved. You can't go from experimenting with your sound, to easy bake oven hits, and still call yourself a respectable artist. At least not yet!
I'm hoping Gaga still shows signs of growth, without having to stoop to a lowest common denominator *coughdrlukecough*

I voted for the first option tho. Because TF and TFM eras are amazing. BTW, Born This Way has some generic stuff (Heavy Metal Lover [lyrics], Hair and Judas [sound])

+1,
If it's Telephones & Poker Faces I'd be all the way here for it.

There will be no hate from me, as long as it's material that sounds good in my ears.

HML is actually one of her least generic songs. Its lyrics are not generic either.
