So I suppose this confirms that means the rumours about Mel B coming to the UK X Factor are false?

I mean she did x factor down there last year and is doing them this year, after all the live shows already began. Can anyone imagine having to fly back and forth bewteen 2 shows with dual acts to "mentor"

I'm not sure about this show. Samantha Jade almost kicked out last week? At least half the current contestants with amateur vocal ability? Johnny Ruffo making the finals last year? What are they voting for? - _ -

That Josh Brooks kid was basic anyways.

I actually thought Johnny had that X Factor the show actually wanted. For him it was his ready-made star image, good-guy personality that indeed got him farther, but he did have the X Factor.

This year for me, however, I can only seem to cheer on What About Tonight, maybe Samantha Jade, Angel Tepai by miles (my fav, but not last weeks song), and maybe the new group they formed

Don't get me wrong. I secretly like "On Top," and I realize that Australia is more into the pop cheese than the States but I cannot handle when there is a clearly more talented singer/performer not getting the deserved attention.

There are a lot of flaws to this series. In my opinion, no act really has the full package. I would argue that the people who have the strongest vocal abilities this year don't have the right image or star quality to succeed. Then there are the people who have the right "pop star" image and have everything going for them when it comes to support from the public, yet they don't have the vocal quality or talent to pull off consistently good performances.

It also doesn't help when people are voting in contestants that don't have either strengths.

I think that while this is true, its funny how they let 2 contestents who have been trying for years to get to the live shows, and even Samantha Jade who was on the Step Up Soundtrack

It just seems like their rehashing contestants, whether or not they are stars.

This X factor is flawless and ***** on the UK and the US versions.
Im an x factor super fan and tbh im obsessed with this one.
