simple question: after reporting a post on here, how often do you go back to see if it was warned?

I refresh every 30 seconds or so. Sometimes the moderators will warn it almost instantly, sometimes it takes nearly 12 hours.

A few hours later...most of the time the thread gets closed though so I never know if the report went through or not

I don't report.

I never report posts. But sometimes I'm really close. One of these days, I'm going to get really offended.

I'm the same. But it's usually just cause I forget and by time i remember I don't care.

I realy didn't expect the "every 10/30 seconds"
