Its a pop album, with alot of R&b INFLUENCE, kinda similar to BEYONCE "4". It's a mixture of alot of genres, so its alittle hard to classify its genre.

The main point of the article is that he isn't SELL OUTS like CHRIS N USHER.

Both of those are heavily influenced by electro instruments. Not nearly in the same vein as any songs on Channel Orange.

Just because it uses electro instruments doesn't mean that it isn't R&B. There has to be some sort of progression with the genre or else it gets boring.

Frank is R&B influenced, but he melds that into several other genres. At the end of the day, he is his own sound.
