They were really influenctial in the whole metalcore start up... Then when people started to like it they decided they hated it, so they changed their style completely. They hated the kids at their shows who would wear shirts of other bands in the genre and stuff.

The lead singer loves Axel Rose and wants to be him. They're also really conservative. I dunno... I read an interview a year or so ago and it made me hate them.

I can't believe a band like Avenged Sevenfold took part in this garbage song. They're going to lose a lot of respect in the rock/metal community for this crap.

A7X has played most of the big rock/metal festivals in Europe and also were chosen to play Ozzfest, you obviously have to have some respect built up for you for that to happen.

Well, I meant in America obviously. The Prince Of Darkness, Osbourne himself, has slowly turned into the biggest joke in metal. I'm not sure his 'Fest is that respectable. I've only heard Avenged Sevenfold from their two radio singles, but they have not done much over here to gain any notoriety in my opinion. They seem to have been labeled "Hot Topic" posterkids. All looks and little substance.
