Freshman - Boring as ****, dealing with shitheads.
Sophomore - A little better, but still the same ol' ****. "Friends" getting faker by the marking period.
Junior - I ran track for the first. The experience made high school actually seem like a place I wanted to be. All my friends either dropped out, graduated, or just burned our bridge. New ones came out of track, but the only time I saw them was during track.
Senior - Ran winter and spring track, but my heart wasn't in it this time around. Still got my medals and ****, but I just wanted to be done with it. School was boring as hell. All of my friends were gone and the "friends" I made during track completely ignored me. I just wanted school to be over.
High school was just... Ugh... It's filled with a bunch of people dying to stand out but ultimately all blend together. It's so fake. I'm glad it's over. I didn't really have any bad experiences when I was there, but it wasn't for me.
I was friends with lots of the teachers, tho. We still talk.
College, while lonely most times, has been way better. People are actually genuine. You have the occasional ones who still think they're in high school, but that's about it.
