My reply was to that popwatch article. There was nothing positive about it.
That article is quite annoying ofc. But EW has always been shady as **** when it comes to Taylor, sans one or two times they praised her. Nothing new. Go to google, and search for positive articles. You're still the best tho here on putting the balance betweet Pos/Neg.
Or you can play at SYG, something fun is happening. And can't believe I'm defending Joanne.
Alot of musicians don't write their own material too though as long as its better than the past 3 albums or around that good I'll be happy . I hope she keeps improving with each release for many more years as well
Super excited that she's performing at iHeartRadio!!
They livestream those performances, so we can all watch online
Watching that video made me think that she's planning on popping up as a guest artist with other people; she has a lot of friends, and I'm sure some of them will be there performing as well.
So, officially announced, just now, the iHeartRadio this year will be on September 21st & 22nd. Lineup: Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Usher, Pitbull, Shakira, Calvin Harris, P!nk , Linkin Park, Jason Aldean , Mary J. Blige, Enrique Iglesias, Deadmau5, Miranda Lambert, No Doubt, Swedish House Mafia, Brad Paisley, Green Day, Lil' Wayne , Aerosmith and Bon Jovi.
YAS!
Taylor, Miranda, Deadmau5, MJB, No Doubt, SHM (), Green Day, Aerosmith, & Bon Jovi. The rest can take a seat.

I often go to a certain forum of an artist who's fans have a seemingly fanatical one-mindedness of hatred and disdain for Taylor, just out of curiousity to see if any of them can actually ever develop and expand their minds to let in anything other than 150% dedication to all things ______. Of course they make no mention of interesting and laudable performances like her guesting with James Taylor, and being praised by him and other legends of songwriting and artistry, but instead fixate on things that attempt to put Taylor in a bad light.
Reading their latest, they continue to stay true to form, never posting or discussing anything but negative stories about Taylor, and doing their best to further negativity towards her in the comments of said articles to try to promote likeminded hatred and narrow-mindedness towards her. The latest is rehashing the extremely one-sided view of Taylor (along with Katy Perry, whom she couldn't be further from in terms of musical sound and ability) as written by one of the EW writers, about Taylor's supposed bullying attitude towards men etc.
Anyway, if anyone wants a good chuckle, step on over to the ______fans dot com. It's interesting how any group of people could develop such hatred for any one person, especially Taylor. The funny thing is, I always enjoyed and liked their favorite artist's music but the more of her fans I run across, the bigger my disgust for her fanbase grows.
That site is the worst. Luckily most of the Carrie fans here do not use them either. Or so they claim. they are so pressed about Taylor and her success that its hilarious.

I'm curious, is there a fan base on earth that's more pressed about an artist that's not their fave than the fans of C-?
Well Taylor did snatch their faves throne. Boo-hoo. Cry me a river.
That is such a sexist crap to begin with. Women writing breakup songs and maybe burning their exes a little in the process. Oh the horror! What meanies. At the same time when men call women bitches in their songs on a regular basis. And that somehow gets a pass? And these backhanded compliments at the end that i do actually like their music. Yeah, right.. You are clearly so informed about Taylor´s discography when you claim she has 17 hits putting exes on a blast and that is all she writes about. Bitch, please...

pretty awesome. Odd that Aerosmith is listed as a performer, and has an album coming out that is supposed to include a duet with the aforementioned C-, and yet she's not listed as a performer. Who wants to bet she won't be a surprise guest there..and yet her fans always say Taylor tries to upstage her Not that that would be upstaging Taylor, she's perfectly welcome to duet there with Aerosmith, just saying if it was the other way round, her fans would accuse Tay of doing it again.

True, some of her fans are pretty nice, but usually they're the ones that are also Taylor fans. I've seen a couple posters here in this thread that are big stans of C- that post at that site that really try to drag Taylor there, in other threads. And yet they try to act mild and friendly when posting here. Another poster there that posts frequently at uk-mix site on Taylor's thread is also a big dragger there.
I just find the C- fandom as represented on that site to be sort of psychotic and astonishing. And it's not just in regards to Taylor, if you look at their voting threads and practices, I'd say a big part of the radio and cmt/gac success of their fave isn't due to overwhelming popularity by a majority, but instead to some pretty crazy and questionable tactics to force and create multiple votes and promotion, to push C- past many competitors, not just Taylor.
Just for jokes..I wouldn't be surprised if it was a C- stan that wrote the EW article and some others lol.
In case anybody's bored or hasn't seen it before, I recommend this interview. ****ing hilarious.
The whole thing is ****ing awesome. She seems so carefree and her sarcasm/funny side (that Emma Stone said she so loves about her) shines through. She is so much more calculative these days.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. I wish she could just relax and be herself, she was so charismatic before extreme publicity and fame happened, and before the Kanye incident. I feel like now her PR people kind of hold her back and sterilize her too much nowadays, as evidence which we havn't gotten a personal blog or blog video from her in forever, and her interviews are all sort of just cut-and-paste assembly line questions and answers. Even so she's funny and charming, but it just comes in tiny little bits and pieces, instead of shinging through the whole interview.
One of my favorite interview moments is the Lorreane Crook interview from 2008 I think. LC's mic messes up and a technician comes out to fix it, reaching down her shirt to adjust the mic or replace it. The camera pans back and forth a bit, and LC says "I don't even know that man!" and Taylor spontaneously and humorously says "You do now!" and the audience erupts in laughter.

I hope someone uploads it on youtube immediately since I know I won't get to see it on tv

Just read the EW article. Before we get into the false information in the article lets just go into why people know who her songs are about and why people don't know who Adele's songs are about. The reason is not because Taylor named the people but because of the infatuation from the media about who each song is about and deciphering everything so if its anyone's fault its yours(EW) not Taylor's and the reason why we don't know about Adele's is because at the time the album was made she wasn't a mega-star yet so no one wondered about it and now its too late to dig up who it is about. Honestly her 1st album(Taylor's) was the album she gave away who the people were(Teardrops) and noone had a problem with it then. So why now?
