its clear that gaga has far more intellect than the other pop girls, so for people to assume she's going to resort to generic trash is nonsense. we all know (or at least pray) thats she'll bring the slickest, grimiest production to some clever lyrics (a la TFM) and as long as the beat BOPS and the chorus is understandable, the GP will have no choice but to love it.

Should Gaga do promo singles for the new album? Honestly, I don't want her to since BTW got ruined for me cause I only had like 5 new songs to listen to after it got released. She played TEOG, Judas, BTW, Y&I(live), Americano(live), Scheisse(remix), GH(remix), MTN, FoHL & Electric Chapel on that Gagaville Facebook thing.

Promo singles should only be done pre-first single not after the first/second singles like she did with TEOG tbh.

I don't want any promo singles. They sort of hurt the potential of the songs as actual singles later and don't really do much unless the first single is really bad. I'd much rather let the first single and possibly the second single if released beforehand to provide the hype for the album and nothing else. I'm sure it will be amazing.

Same! I'm just saying that they work better before any single is released rather then how she did it. But honestly she only did it to hype the album. I'm sure they didn't think it would hurt TEOG's peak like it did.

I remember pple getting excited when there was a rumour of 22 tracks i think in BTW. Now all of you want less.

I wouldn't say Gaga is smarter than all the other pop girls. I think some of them are intelligent. I will say Gaga is a better songwriter and takes more chances than her contemporaries though. I think she's very knowledgable about Fame, Fashion, and Music but I wouldn't say they are dumber. She can just write songs with depth. She also takes chances and prides herself in working with different people and sounds. Most of the other girls work with established popular people with already popular sounds.

Don't forget she released Hair as a promo single too. Anyway, no I'd like her to release her lead single 2-3 months before her album releases. Depending on the strength of her lead single she can release a new single when her album releases or shortly after. I want there to be surprises. I don't want to know all the song titles, half the lyrics to the album, production/instrumentals to various songs ,etc. I'm fine with knowing a little bit but not a lot. She can speak in general what her next album is about conceptually/thematically and let us hear the lead single as well as performing Princess Die but that's about all I want to know. If she'd just release a release date, album title, and # of songs, I'd be fine.

I don't mind a long as **** "fan" or whatever version. She needs to keep the album at around 10-12 tracks and around 45 mins.
