She may have no new music out, but you will still see her.
Now that Katy is single and bigger than ever, she is going to get stalked by tabloids. They are going to chase her down to link her up with every guy they can find.
Good for her. She deserves a break, and honestly, she has been around a little too much these past few years. A little time away from the public eye could only do her career good.
And these Monsters saying she's copying Gaga are ridiculous. Do you really think Gaga invented the concept of taking time off??? Katy needs a break much much more than Gaga. I mean, the BTW era was basically a break in itself.
Katy hasn't been "overexposed". I also don't think she "needs" a break. In reality, the GP will continue to eat as long as they're served. Of course, it has to taste good to the ears. It only seems like she's overexposed because most of you spend all day here.
With that said I think it will be good for her, personally. Despite the sugar pop of Teenage Dream, a lot of the themes were personal and she clearly writes from experience. So we'll see what she brings.
