If we're talking bout worldwide scale, yes, Britney singles have been successful, but in US, Britney never "got it best" on radios. But she does it best on album sales, although its been declined on sales.

Yeah Mariah won't beat the record with her upcoming album... Nowadays it's very hard to get more than two number ones from an album due to downloads, and TEOM only managed two numbers ones and one of them was only due to a re-release.

And I'm sorry but Madonna can still make another #1... if she releases something that is more radio friendly... Hung Up hit the top ten and it is a dance record! I can't think of any other artist besides Cascada and her that placed a dance single in the top 10 in 2005...

There are Britney Spears' singles. Singleswise she has never done well, but in her own defense almost all were before the downloading era and had her singles fallen more in this era, she would have had more #01s for sure, including "Toxic," which had great radio airplay.
