I didn't "avoid" your response, I'm just not here for an argument when all I needed to say was that I think this was a good thing for her to do. There's no need for it.
I like Katy and I'm glad she spoke up about the issue and that's all there is to it.

I don't think Delita is saying that. It's just that some people may be skeptical of her words, given her religious background and flipant disregard of the gay community in USG and IKAG. You may find it silly some are offended by it, but some people really were and she hasn't made ammends for that yet.
Yeah, that's all I was stating was that people are skeptical and I pointed out reasons why and what she could do to get those skeptics on her side.

I'm gay and never saw a problem with Ur So Gay or I Kissed A Girl... Some people just take everything too seriously. I guess it depends on the type of personality you have.
For example, I know some gays who can't even stand gay jokes from their own friends. I'm the complete opposite, if the intention is good, why be offended?
I'm happy that she's open-minded, but I wish she would actually do something more for the LGBT community. She probably has the biggest gay fanbase after Gaga. I wish she wasn't afraid to be open about it and do something with her voice. :/
