All those things factor in. The song itself is risky I mean with lyrics like "Don't be a drag just be a queen" or "A different lover is not a sin believe Capital H-i-m". I don't necessarily believe that just because a song is catchy that it's radio friendly. The lyrics could very well have backfired on her, actually in a sense they did. As far as LGBT content goes, I truly don't know if it would have affected it or not. We're starting to see a lot of change now in the acceptance of the lgbt community more so than in the last few years.
