I don't get why you all are mad at DS and talking about IFY instead of other and better songs from Stronger. Do you really think I Flopgive You would sell the album and become a monster hit? Have you all forgetten Let Me Down? When it leaked everybody loved it, everybody thought it would be Kelly's new single and even radios jumped on it and played it. IFY would flop even harder than DS is flopping (but DS is a sleeper hit and I do think it will do well eventually). LMD may flop too but at least it deserves to be a single. That generic IFY mess doesn't.

It's just so generic and even if it became a hit, which I highly, highly doubt, I would feel ashamed for saying: that generic track on the radio right now, yeah that's Kelly. No, the album has so much more potential. I want LMD, because it's so retro, or YLM, because it brings something else to the table; and because it's a song written by Kelly.
This is not supposed to be an offense, but I want a song that's unique, a song that only Kelly could sing. I Forgive You sounds more like a disney song to me

Why people dislike IFY? It is awesome and catchy song. Almost as good as Stronger

I always wanted Dark Side to be the third single and I don't regret it. Can't believe pop radio is not here for it when they were here for SLY, SFTTR, STIUTK, WAY, PUK and other songs. Almost everyone loves Dark Side, why pop radio DJs don't?

Anyway I still hope it will take off...if not, IFY please and then LMD.

Calm down everyone. "Dark Side" is far from flopping just yet. Kelly's later singles have always taken a while to get started. She has been steadily increasing so far, and it doesn't help that "Stronger" is still a massive hit (#21 on the Hot 100, top 20 on radio).

Wait for "Stronger" to get out of the limelight before thinking "Dark Side" is a so-called "flop." I talked to my local Top 40 and the person in charge of adds, and she told me that "the research isn't there yet," but she is rooting for Kelly. It shows there is still a long way for this single to climb.

As for "I Forgive You," people and most importantly radio has moved on from the cutesy rock-pop songs. "I Do Not Hook Up" was mildly successful, but failed because it sounded so dated. Things would fare far worse for "I Forgive You." There are plenty of better songs on the album that would do better than "I Forgive You."

Maybe DS deserve being single but def. not the 3rd one after monster hit Stronger. Tbh IFY or LMD should have follow it. In perfect world it would have been Alone but ya'll know...

A certain stan in here acting like this is the smash of the year needs to shut the **** up.

At least it's still rising, hopefully it's starts gaining a little faster. RCA needs to do something about that itunes position. Thats not helping her radio play at all.

I seriously don't even have to guess who reported this. But for what it's worth FAN, I completely agree with you. I guess we finally figured out who the mole of the base is.

Currently #88 on Itunes. It seems that the song is only rising when VH1 is airing and starts dropping after a few days.

We need promo asap. Promo is the only thing that can help the song. The fact that it's summer (this is a midtempo) and the song is not even in the top 50 doesn't give radio stations any motivation to play the song.

Without promo this is a definite flop. So let's see what RCA is going to do.
