I think its a Mexican food/fast food. Not all people are here for Mexican food though.
However, McDonald's is a worldwide smash and will remain unbothered as the no. 1 fast food in the world.
Must be an american thing, you hardly see Mexican food here, all you get in England is mainly Maccy D's & Burger King and along them lines, Fish & Chips, Indian, and Chinese takeouts are starting to appear around Leeds/ Yorkshire area.
It was primarily built to serve different people from around the world who will be watching the Olympics (as well as the players ) and since McDonald's is very well-known worldwide, this was a good move for them. I don't understand why they have to tear it down though.

This is the part I'm hung up on. Has nobody really come forward to talk about how utterly wasteful it is to build a Mega-McD's and then completely demolish the whole thing a few months later? Couldn't we have used the building materials for something USEFUL, like housing for the homeless? Or are we just supposed to smile and get into the "Olympic spirit"?
